Disappointed

I was excited to find an app to help kids practice reading sentences. Once we started using it we quickly noticed that many of the entries are NOT sentences; "The big ox," for example. I teach reading for first and second grade. Its difficult enough for students to understand fragments vs. sentences. This reinforces an incorrect definition of a sentence. Call it "reading word strings," to be accurate.
